Service:

Customized curriculum and academic support for study skills, executive functioning development, and subject areas including Spanish and English.

Rates:

Regular rates are based on 50-minute sessions and vary depending on a number of factors, including private vs group sessions, online vs in person, and level of curriculum customization. Private one-on-one tutoring starts at a base level of $145 per 50-minute session, with discounts available for groups, independent schools, non-profit organizations, and more. Please email to talk more about your specific needs. See below for contact info.

Payment:

Once you are scheduled for lessons, you can use your credit card to set up Auto Pay. You will be invoiced via email and billed automatically on a monthly basis, before the 1st of each month. This can be cancelled at any time.

Subscription: This is a flexible, ongoing membership to Learning with Leah’s services for a specific number of sessions per month. This option includes optional last-minute scheduling, individualized curriculum and email communication. Please contact leah@learningwithleah.com for more information and to get started.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:

I understand that things come up and I will try to make accommodations where possible, but I do have the following policies: If you need to miss a session and you notify me 24 hours or more in advance of the lesson, I would be happy to find another time for you within 7 days of the missed lesson. If we are unable to find a time to reschedule within 7 days, you will be charged for the unused lesson. If you cancel a session less than 24 hours leading up to a session, or if you don’t show up, you will be charged in full for that session and not be eligible to reschedule. I may allow for flexibility on a case-by-case basis. Thank you for understanding.

Monthly payment cancellation: Contact Leah to cancel any ongoing subscription plan. You will be credited with any remaining sessions for the month, which you can use toward one-on-one sessions.

Learner Responsibility:

To improve in areas that a student feels particularly challenged by, and to gain fluency in a new language, it is recommended that they spend a minimum of 10-15 minutes per day practicing, implementing new strategies and studying independently. Taking responsibility for your own learning is key. I would be happy to share some options for independent practice during our lesson and upon request!
